The building is used to house a multitude of Klickitat County services including senior center, police, county courts and health clinic as well as other minor services for the County.

Reclaimed lumber from a nearby mill was used throughout the construction.  In the the main lobby and hallways it is used not only as accent material but also as the main exposed structure.  Transaction desks, window sills, seats and door way vestibules all benefited from the use of the reclaimed lumber.
